Improved sound quality of intelligent microtuning (IQM): Warmer sound for long release times Improved spectral slope of low frequencies to reduce gibbs effect for more 'analog' sound Improved reverb sound: Softer and more diffuse reverb tails In v2.1 we introduced these new features:ĭrastically improved low notes oscillator sound You can find a detailed list of changes (from v1.x to v2.0) here: #TONE2 GLADIATOR 2 VST UPGRADE#The link for the upgrade from Gladiator1 can be found here: However we offer an upgrade with discount for Gladiator1 users. They are optional and do not contain the basic product. This VST is an essential for anybody making club or dance music. The Gladiator2 expansions contain additional content (features and sounds) for Gladiator2. Knowing what I know now, I would still get this VST if it didn't come with FL. That is the only problem I actually have with Gladiator. I do not like the way presets are selected though and the actual GUI. I'm not sure if there are any expansion packs for this VST however if there is I would be interested in finding some. There is quite a few filler sounds in this VST that are just there for the sake of it and do not really contribute to the actual VST. The VST also has a nice range of pads and atmosphere sounds for the backdrop. They sound brilliant in any RNB or Hip Hop song. The pads especially are brilliant for almost any track Lots of the synths do however sound nearly the same. This VST is brilliant for dance and club synths, and is jam packed with nice leads and thick pads. I have used this VST for quite a while now and it's been a part of quite a few of my tracks. I prefer the traditional browser selection method in VST's such as Sampletank. There are arrow buttons to flick through but selective picking of sounds is hard and complicated to do on this VST. The preset menu is hard to find initially but once you have it it is easy to flick through the categories of sounds and presets. The load time of the presets is speedy and near instant. It is very stable and hasn't ever crashed my system, or programs. This VST works flawlessly on both of my systems. This VST is similar to PoiZone in a way that the GUI is pretty confusing with all the knobs and dials and can be pretty intimidating for the new user. #TONE2 GLADIATOR 2 VST PATCH#The GUI can be rather confusing to find all the presets and at first I initially browsed presets through the FL patch list instead of the actual browser on the VST. It works great on both of my systems, a low end and a high end machine without any latency or choppiness in the sound. This VST has worked fine in every DAW I have ever used, including FL Studio, Ableton Live and Cubase 5. Gladiator VST installed on my computers without a single problem at all. There might not be another VST that can put out sounds like the Tone 2 Gladiator. #TONE2 GLADIATOR 2 VST DOWNLOAD#I have probably used every singe preset that it has to offer and was able to go online and download some new preset packs from other Tone 2 Gladiator users. But most of it really isn’t in real time, there is a slight delay. It is easy to get the sound you want, all you have to do is start messing with the knobs, it will provide some neat stuff. But you will need for these effects to be there in order for the sound to be good, if you take off the effects you will be left with a boring synth. Each preset has so many effects on them there is no wonder why it can slow down a system and eat all the CPU. ![]() But its like a catch 22 because the sounds have so many effects already put on them. ![]() My favorite thing about Tone 2 Gladiator are the sounds, the quality of the presets are really good. ![]() Probably cant open up a session without seeing an instance of Tone 2 gladiator running, I have been using it for 1 year, I am not sure when it came out though. I have used Tone 2 Gladiator in so many of my projects, it could be the most used VST that I have owned. Tone 2 Gladiator was very easy to install, and out side of the problem I was having with it in Cubase I have not had another problem yet. The interface of Tone 2 Gladiator is amazing, it might be one of my favorite out of any VST that I have purchased. Tone 2 Gladiator is amazing and there are so many options that you have to manipulated the sounds. So I started using it in Fl Studio and didn’t have a single problem wit it there. It could be having some issues with another plug in in Cubase, but I am not sure. Every time I was use Tone 2 Gladiator there was like a glitch every time that I would press play to play back the sequence that I just recorded. Tone 2 Gladiator was giving me a lot of problems, and I couldn’t figure out whey it was.
